Chris Moore has taken Hanwell Town to new heights since taking charge of the club in 2018, alongside Wayne Carter. before taking sole charge in 2022 following the Geordies' promotion to the Southern League Premier.
Chris has a wealth of experience in league and non-league football, he began his playing career at Uxbridge before moving onto Northwood. He then made a name for himself when he signed for Dagenham & Redbridge. He had a brief spell with Brentford before returning to the Daggers and helping them win promotion to the Football League.
Moore then moved to Chelmsford City and subsequently had stints at Farnborough, Uxbridge and Wealdstone before joining Egham Town. The talented striker then hung up his boots and took the managerial reigns with his assistant Wayne Carter. The pair started the 2017/18 season at Egham Town and after the role ended in January 2018, Chris and Wayne ended the 2017/18 season playing for Hanwell Town. The pair became joint manager of Hanwell Town at the beginning of the 2018/19 season after Ray Duffy stepped down after over 950 games in charge.
Chris took sole charge of the Club for the 2022/23 season. In his first season in sole charge, and Hanwell's first at Step 3, he guided the club to 50 points, 13 points clear of the bottom four, and a 14th placed finish. Our second season in the Southern League saw us pick up 48 points, which was enough to survive on goal difference in 17th place.
He continues to make history at the Powerday Stadium, with Hanwell going further than they have in the club's history in the FA Trophy.
