Sam joined the club from Beaconsfield in October 2023, winning the Supporters' Player of the Year and the Southern League Goalkeeper of the Season awards in his first season at the club. He was named as club captain at the start of the 2024/25 season, and brings a wealth of experience between the sticks, having played in the football league for Cambridge United and Stevenage.
His father, Dave, famously was the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in an FA Cup final, lifting the famous trophy with Wimbledon FC in 1988 and won two England caps in 1989.
