Hanwell Town 0-2 Dorchester Town

Dorchester headed home with all three points thanks to strikes from Marcus Daws and Jadyn Hania Crosbie.

Hanwell’s Harry Seabrook set the tone for the game within five minutes, after a tough challenge on Dorchester’s Wes Fogden, earning him an early caution.

From there a very physical game ensued, which from a corner in the 12thminute saw Dorchester assert themselves in the game, when after a scrappy battle in the box, Marcus Daws poked the ball into the net to give the away side the lead.

The Magpies controlled the majority of the first half, their next chance came in the 28th minute through Daws, who found himself in space. He beat his man but dragged his shot wide of the far post.

Controversy struck in the 34th minute when Hanwell’s Ethan Lindo appeared to get caught with an elbow to the face in the box, but the penalty shouts were to no avail.

Dorchester had a golden opportunity for a second in the closing stages of the first half when Wayne Robinson’s close-range effort ricocheted off the bar.

Dorchester made it two early in the second half when Jadyn Hania Crosbie made no mistake after Robinson’s miss kick found him.

The Geordies failed to really test the back line of the visitors apart from Dan Carr’s curling effort that just went over.
