Hanwell Town U18

The programme is set out over a 2-year period, with the aim to recruit 16 year olds (Yr 1s), to develop, mentor, guide, young players to reach their football objectives within the Club's structure over this time frame. We refer to 17-18 years olds as Yr 2 players.

This is along with our aims of

•   Producing a cohort of players capable of playing for our ist Team.
•   To be one of the leading clubs in Youth Player Development.
•   To compete with the smaller Professional Academy clubs.
•   To prepare for Academy status, should the opportunity arise in the future.

The U18s compete in the Southern Counties Youth League (SCYL) system in the 'Olympian League', which is a floodlight mid-week league playing either at The Powerday Stadium or Cardinal Wiseman School in Greenford. Home games are usually played on a Monday evenings (at 19:30/19:45), away fixtures will be dependent on that club's nominated night.

Appreciation and gratitude must also be mentioned to our Senior Club Committee, without their support, investment and guidance, these young potential players would not have the opportunity to fulfil their aspirations.
